Luca D’Addezio

Living and working in Palma de Mallorca, I have a Master degree in Public Relations at IULM university of Milan, with a specialization on Products Marketing, new Startups and Advertising. After many years of experience in managing positions for companies around the world, I decided to follow one of my biggest passions, photography! Since I was an 8-year-old kid it was a common thing see me roaming around with a flaming new Olympus Xa (it was the year 1982!).

During all these years photography was my biggest hobby, I moved to reflex World in 1991 with a Nikon Af601 still with the magic of the dark chamber and later on with the fantastic world of Digital reflex and postproduction.

Though not exactly related to the photographer profession, my university path in Communication allowed me to know about history of photography, understanding the amazing work of some of the biggest actors of this world, and the evolution of photography itself. I like to think that photography is a very strong vehicle of mass Visual Communication, with an artistic declination to be red in what the artist is willing to show.

My photographic philosophy, take inspiration from one of the biggest photographers of the past, Henri Cartier-Bresson and one of his quotes:

“Photographier c’est mettre sur la même ligne de mire la tête, l’œil et le coeur.”

“Taking pictures is putting on the same level mind, eyes, and heart.”

Photographic formation I pursued is born at first from creating my own photographic culture, without that, I think, a photographer can’ t be called as such: necessary sensibility to produce and evaluate good quality imaged, is grown only through a deep study of those great photographers of the past.

After spending several years around the world collaborating as a Reportage journalist for some of the most famous newspapers and magazines, I began to be passionate about wedding photography. I tried to apply the style of the reportage in what is basically “nothing more” than a story of the most important day for a couple.

To the power of photojournalism, I also added the beauty and attention to detail of Glamor and Fashion, managing to propose a refined style, able to revive the sensations and atmosphere of the wedding over the years.

I have been operating in this sector for 15 years, first in Italy, then in the United States and now also in Mallorca, this splendid island that adopted me for almost 7 years and is now part of me.

Hello, I’m thrilled to introduce myself as a new addition to the “Luca D’Addezio Photographer” team! My name is Benny and it happens I’m as well Luca’s wife

I am passionate about photography, particularly when it comes to capturing the special moments of weddings.

For many years, I have been an amateur photographer, working alongside Luca to capture unforgettable memories for our clients. I am excited to announce that I have now officially joined the company as a second photographer, and I can’t wait to contribute my unique style and perspective to our work.

As a photographer, my style is heavily focused on journalistic reportage, inspired by the great Henri Cartier-Bresson. I believe that the best photographs are the ones that capture real, candid moments and emotions. My approach to photography is to be as unobtrusive as possible, allowing the day to unfold naturally while I capture every detail through my lens.

Together with my husband, we aim to create images that are both beautiful and authentic, telling the story of the day through our eyes. Our focus is always on the couple and their guests, ensuring that their day is not disrupted by our presence, but rather enhanced by our ability to capture the moments that they will cherish forever.

We are passionate about what we do, and we believe that our love for photography is evident in the images that we create. We look forward to working with you and creating unforgettable memories that you will treasure for a lifetime.
